Nature can help us address a range of social issues including climate change, food and water security, human health and other major 21st century challenges. Did you know that nature-based solutions can be low-cost and low-risk whilst also protecting the ecosystems on which we depend?

1.Warm up activity- visit the following website https://wakelet.com/wake/7b854d88-c5d8-426d-b390-908f209fa630 and discuss nature-based solutions you can notice.
2.Go to “The Urban Nature Atlas” which is a collection of more than 1000 inspiring nature-based solutions from European cities and beyond.
3.Choose at least four different locations close to your neighbourhood/ city and visit one of them.
4.Think of problems you observe in your community. Form groups and start your first brainstorming session.
5.Incorporating analytical, synthetic, divergent and convergent thinking, you will create a wide number of potential solutions and then narrow these down to a “best fit” solution.
